The 3rd International Chemical Regulation REACH Workshop 2011 Successfully Ended on 30 Nov, in Hangzhou China

The 3rd International Chemical Regulation REACH Workshop 2011 has been successfully held in Hangzhou, China on 29-30 November. Chaired by REACH24H and the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF), the workshop demonstrates over 200 delegates a panoramic view about the new/existing chemicals legislation and GHS-related implementing progress over the world's three economic entities, the European Union, the North America and East Asia. New thoughts and frontier research on chemical regulation strategy and industry compliance have met here with the chemical regulation institution of domestic China.

Subjects at the two-day workshop cover the 2013 update and 2010 summary on EU REACH and CLP, Global Product Strategy for the chemical industry, the implementation status for GHS in North America, Korea's REACH-style legislation, Japanese CSCL enforcement, current challenges in case studies of China new chemicals notification, the upcoming China GHS and hazardous chemicals legislation. In addition, latest theories and non-test alternative practices are introduced on the meeting to address chemicals screening/prioritizing and toxicology management. MORE
